Cheers to 2023 and us “finally” re-opening Willow Winery. After a long hiatus navigating the liquor license transfer during the Covid pandemic and shut-down, the 5th oldest working winery and vineyard in the region is now open, once again.
Please join the new owners, Tracy and Harry Faulkner for the inaugural new season of one of the most historical grape-growing, wine making establishments on The Leelanau Peninsula. We’re thrilled to “officially” roll out the new patio with the most majestic views and the most comfortable accommodations for our guests (new and old).
Jois us this year as we say goodbye to the old, and welcome the new. The first portion of the year will pay homage to John & Jo Crampton (The Founders of 30 years ago) featuring some of the greatest, fan favorites and cult classics such as: Sweet Rain Chardonnay (don’t blame the name, this is the top seller at Willow, and we’re sweet, but not sweet wine drinkers and we love this one!) ; Road Trip Riesling; Oaked Chardonnay; the best cherry wine collaboration of all time and a very fine Pinot Gris featuring Frankie the Cat, Who’s living out his retirement and his best years ever in Elk Rapids with John & Jo.
Accommodations have been made for the designated drivers (whom we so appreciate), the four-legged friends whom we adore, and the babies and children of the parents looking forward to the perfect combination of adult fun and family fun all under the same roof. (Or, on our N/A kids-only patio.)
