Greetings Willow Wine Lovers,
Welcome back to the 5th oldest working winery and vineyard on The Leelanau Peninsula, named the #2 wine region in the U.S. (next to Napa) in USA Today. While our region is #2, Willow is still thrilled to have the #1 views and some amazing reviews after our inaugural season last summer as new owners.
Purchased in the Pandemic, and after a painstaking delay in getting our legal liquor license, we found the positivity in the delay as it allowed us more time to tend to the vines, make more wonderful wines and perfect the most-posh patio on the Peninsula. We’re back . . . and at 54 and 64, we believe even more in complete comfort for all our guests. So, whether you’re enjoying a tasting in our Tasting Room with amazing views, or an iced down bucket of Pino (Gris) on the Patio, (with breathtaking panoramic views) we have the perfect place for you, and your pet too* - must be child, human and feline friendly - *
From your personal welcome at the hand-held door, to local food offerings (including our complimentary BBQ Cherry Potato Chips (made right here in Traverse City), our Tasting Team will attend to your every need. Top this with a cherry on top of our new Cherry Summer Spritzer, spectacular service, wonderful wines, amazing views and new friends too, you’ll definitely be inclined to leave with a personalized signed bottle of wine. (We’ve signed nearly 3,000 bottles so far.) Ending your experience with a fabulous photo of you and your guests tucked in to the vines with nothing but blue skies and water views behind you. While Willow is celebrating 27 years, We look forward to welcoming you to our Grand Re-Opening Second Season, happily dubbed, “The Great Pinot Pour of 2024”. Yes, the long-awaited release of our Library Collection of our Estate Grown, Estate Made, Estate Aged Pinot Noir is finally here. A flight in our new “fancy” glasses featuring the 2019, ’20 & ’21 vintages is just $20. A perfect pairing on the patio with your "Trio of Pinot". Pick your favorite vintage and enjoy a bottle at only $50, and for a limited time, you can get the entire Library Collection personally signed for only $140. And, remember, everything we do at Willow is done by hand, including hand corking, so you can sip your wine comfortably, and when you don’t finish the bottle (safety first) we’ll teach you to cork it, sign it, put it in a gift bag and you’ll have a souvenir and something to sip on later.

The Philosophy & History of Willow
As the new owners of Willow, it is our great pleasure and joy to carry on the fine wine making and grape growing traditions created by the legendary, John & Jo Crampton who 30 years ago began their great adventure in purchasing land on a hillside overlooking the beautiful bay. There, they hand-planted every vine you see today. We honor their legacy and applaud their pioneer spirit. My husband and I look forward to carrying the torch (and pitch fork) in to the next 25 years. Enjoy their story, as we begin writing ours. . . Cheers! Tracy & Harry Faulkner -- "John & Jo started developing the property in 1992 planting Chardonnay and the following year Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. We are in our 22nd year!

Opportunities to "Own Willow for the Day" are available. Limited to 40 guests you'll have the vineyard and venue to yourself.
We also offer team building events and private tours "From the Vines to the Wines" where you'll have a hands-on, behind the scenes experience as a wine maker and vineyard manager hosted by the new owners, Tracy & Harry Faulkner and long-time, much loved Vineyard Manager, Richard Lauzon.
