Greetings Willow Wine Lovers,
This is Tracy & Harry Faulkner the new owners of Willow Winery - (now) A Faulkner Family Vineyard. We are so grateful and honored to carry on the tradition of fine wine making here at Willow. We're most grateful to the Founders and our Predecessors, John & Jo Crampton who 25 years ago painstakingly planted every vine and attended to every harvest by hand all these years. We too intend to continue the tradition and honor their legacy. However, it is taking a bit longer than expected for all of the licenses to transfer. We have revamped the patio and have elevated the guest experience, but we are still awaiting the green light to open the tasting room and start serving the wine you've been craving.
We know Willow holds fond memories for many and is a destination and annual tradition for just as many more. While we can not sell you or serve you any wine at this time, if you find yourself up on E Hilltop Road and wish to stop by, say hi (if we're working on the grounds and grapes) and snap the perfect photo, by all means, please do so. Just as soon as we're able to open, rest assured, we will. But, until then, please know we're anxious to serve you and to introduce you to a new Willow. One also built on love . . . the love of wine . . . and the love of each other.. Thank you for your patience as we navigate all of the liquor laws and local guidelines. In the interim, please do visit our neighbors and friends close by, Mark & Madelyn at Sutton's Bay Ciders (just above us), Ciccone Vineyards, (Just up the hill and on your right.) Our favorite Sparkling Winery (and Lil Winery) MAWBY & BIG LITTLE, (say hi to Mike & Pete while you're there) and of course, our friends The Bregman Brothers, Robert & Ed. Don't forget Shady Lane (They're the first winery we became members of when we moved here 3 years ago. And, a Happy 5 Year Anniversary to our friends at ROVE Estates. We love McKenzie & Kreighton Gallagher. Cheers to many more years for them, and all of us here with the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail. p.s. (There's an APP for that!)
